Four things this page will not claim

  • No rating. We have no review corpus we can verify at source, so no rating and no review count appear anywhere on this site.
  • No gift card. The studio publishes none, and certificates sold under our name elsewhere are not issued or redeemed by us.
  • No walk-in promise. Same-day appointments are frequently free, but a booking is the only way to be certain.
  • No membership. The published rate is the rate on every visit, first or fiftieth.

Who is working on you, and what the research says

The studio's own booking page describes its therapists as licensed massage therapists. In Texas that licence is issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation under Chapter 455 of the Texas Occupations Code, which also licenses massage establishments. TDLR runs a public licence search, so any therapist's credential can be checked in a minute.

On results, the honest version: the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health reports that massage may help with pain and anxiety, but describes the evidence as limited and the relief as often short-term. That is the claim we make, and the only one we will make. Longer versions with the studies named sit in the sourced massage guides, and what happens at a first massage walks through a session minute by minute.

Where is Spring Massage in McKinney?
Spring Massage is at 1400 N Coit Rd #102, McKinney, TX 75071 — suite 102 in the Crescent Parc centre, on Coit Road at Prestwick Hollow Drive, a block south of US-380 (University Drive). There is surface parking right outside the door. The corner sits on the McKinney–Prosper–Frisco seam, so it's about 10 minutes from Prosper and about 15 from Frisco.
What are your hours?
We're open every day, 10 AM to 9:30 PM — including Saturday and Sunday. The last appointment starts early enough to finish by closing, so for a 90- or 120-minute session, book earlier in the evening or call and we'll fit it in.
How far are you from Prosper, Frisco and Stonebridge Ranch?
Roughly 10 minutes from Prosper, about 15 from Frisco, and 10 to 12 from Stonebridge Ranch and Adriatica Village heading east on Virginia Parkway. Those are off-peak road-routing estimates, not measured times — US-380 backs up at rush hour, so leave a cushion. Full drive-time table on the contact page.
Booking and prices

Booking, prices and paying

How do I book a massage?
Book online any time through our Setmore booking page, which shows live availability, or call (469) 927-8441. Same-day appointments are often open, especially on weekday afternoons — the booking page will show you exactly what's free today.
How much does a massage cost at Spring Massage?
A 30-minute session is $50. A full hour is $65 relaxation or $70 deep tissue; 90 minutes is $100 or $110; two hours is $130 or $140. Lomi Lomi runs $80 / $110 / $140 for 60 / 90 / 120 minutes. The body-and-foot combo is $60 for an hour or $100 for 90 minutes. Couples massage is $120 for Swedish or $130 for deep tissue — for two people, at a limited-time price. Every rate is on the services page, and there is no membership to join.
Do you take walk-ins?
Booking ahead is the only way to be sure a therapist is free, and the online booking page shows today's open times in a couple of taps. If you're already nearby, call (469) 927-8441 and we'll tell you honestly what's open right now.
How does a couples massage work here?
Two guests, two therapists, two tables in one private room, at the same time — an hour of Swedish for $120 or deep tissue for $130 total. One booking note from the studio: please book two separate appointments, one for each guest with a different therapist, at the same date and time. If that's fiddly, call (469) 927-8441 and we'll set it up for you. And couples massage isn't only for couples — mothers and daughters, friends and siblings book it constantly.
How do I pay, and is there a card fee?
The studio's own booking page states it plainly: card transactions carry a $2 transaction fee. Payment is taken at the studio at the end of your session.
Do you sell gift cards?
We don't publish a gift card online, and the prepaid certificates that third-party sites sell under our name aren't issued or redeemed by us. If you'd like to give a massage as a gift, call (469) 927-8441 and ask — that way you know exactly what the recipient will be able to book.
The treatments

The treatments on the menu

What kinds of massage do you offer?
Five: Relaxation (Swedish) massage, deep tissue massage, a combo of body work plus foot reflexology, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, and couples massage on two side-by-side tables. That's the whole menu — we'd rather do five things properly than list twenty.
What is Lomi Lomi massage?
It's the Hawaiian style: long, continuous forearm and hand strokes that travel across the whole body in flowing passes, rather than stopping to work each muscle in turn. People who find deep tissue too intense and Swedish too plain often land on Lomi Lomi. It runs 60, 90 or 120 minutes, from $80.
Do I have to take my clothes off?
Only to the level you're comfortable with. You undress in private, get under the sheet, and stay draped for the whole session — only the area being worked on is uncovered. The AMTA describes this as standard practice at any professional massage session. More detail in our first-massage guide.
Safety and licensing

Safety, licensing and evidence

Should a deep tissue massage hurt?
No. Firm is not the same as painful. Mayo Clinic is explicit that massage shouldn't be painful or uncomfortable, and says to speak up if any part of it is. Tell your therapist at any point and the pressure changes immediately — that's a normal part of the session, not a complaint.
Are your massage therapists licensed?
The studio's own booking page and website describe its therapists as licensed massage therapists. In Texas, massage therapy is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), which issues the Massage Therapist licence under Chapter 455 of the Texas Occupations Code and also licenses massage establishments. TDLR publishes a licence search, so any therapist's licence can be checked directly.
Does massage actually help with stress and muscle tension?
For some people, some of the time — and the honest version is worth reading. The NCCIH reports that massage may help with pain and anxiety but describes the evidence as limited and the relief as often short-term; Mayo Clinic groups massage with relaxation techniques that can ease muscle tension. Treat it as general wellness rather than medical care — our evidence guide lays out where the research is strong and where it thins out.

Good to know

How a visit actually works.

  1. Book a time

Online in about a minute with live availability, or call (469) 927-8441. Same-day slots open up more often than people expect.

  2. Say what you want changed

Where it aches, how firm, anything to avoid. Two minutes of that shapes the whole session — and the pressure stays adjustable throughout.

  3. Take 30 to 120 minutes

A quiet room, a warm table, and a bill that matches the published price. Payment is taken at the studio at the end.
